I wish to
thank you for your continued support of Ballymote Golf
Club.
Due to the foresight of previous
committees we have an excellent course, standing on a
picturesque setting which is the envy of many clubs.
I hope you will always find me approachable.
Constructive comments and suggestions will be welcome as will
offers of asseitance. The Club does not run itself and
the responsibility for making the Club work effectively and
efficiently is a shared one among all the members. The
current difficult financial climate coupled with ever
increasing overheads, underlines the importance of the
principle of shared responsibility.
We have in place a
vibrant and energetic committee, who, with your valued support
will work tirelessly to secure the financial future of the
club.
In order to ensure the financial stability of the club, we intend to run competitions over Saturdays and Sundays to increase participation. We have also introduced the facility to pay membership on a monthly basis. We will have various fundraisers throughout the year, and we hope we will be able to count on your generosity, that is always appreciated.
We are currently updating
our records. We would appreciate if you could include
your mobile phone number and email address at the time of
renewal. Also, there is a standing order form on the
reverse side of the renewal notice if you wish to avail of
it.
I hope you achieve at least some of your golfing ambitions in 2012, but that above all you will have fun playing the great game.
