CARROLLS IRISH PRO-AM
Ballymote Golf Club had the honour of competing in the Carrolls Irish Pro-Am in 1985 & 1986. The Club qualified from Connaught for two years in succession. In 1985 the club represented by Paddy Mullen, Pat Ridge & Charlie Scanlan was drawn with Christy O'Connor Jr. In 1986 the club represented by Tommy Joe Hunt, Stephen Cannon & Brian Kennedy was drawn with none other than Severiano Ballesteros.
